(Fucked if I know why, but for some reason Blogger's not opening the image in a new window when you click on it. So you'll actually have to download the image to see a bigger version of it. Sorry about that. --PGS)

So is that a M&E candidate getting worked over? His/her robot body matches the M&E robot body from a few weeks ago.
This is so damn funny, I am trying not to laugh for some reason (I assume just because the cartoon captures something of a process that is so sick), but I can't do it. We pay all these dues to the APA, both annually and at each conference -- is there ANYTHING that they can do?

sorry if this is a bit much...you will need to copy and paste the address.
Hey, I like the comics and the interview tips, but to return to the general panic about the job search -- is there any consensus about the early posts to the wiki? If we haven't heard from CT by now, can we cross that one off, or were they just teasing us?
I can second one of the listings on the wiki: they contacted me the same day as the person who posted the call (not CT). I think we should put ditto marks on entries that other people post -- easy to forge, but that would provide some indication of how many calls a given school has made. I'd do this, but last year every time I made an entry someone came through and deleted it because they didn't like my typeface or something. Blog nuts can get very possessive of these things -- witness wikipedia.
I agree with anon 10:05am. Let's do this. Perhaps post a comment to this effect on the wiki itself?
I can ditto the Washington and Lee entry today.
Someone keeps vandalizing the wiki and it's really annoying. I like to track my job market failure in real time.
The wiki seems to be up and running now ... We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming: "That Was My Future."
Ditto note is now entered, so you are encouraged to use it.
I'm not sure the dittos are helping, but they will create a mess. If you are going to ditto, make sure that you put a message in the log. I guess different IP addresses add some credibility to the dittos. . . .
